Christmas party at High Country West

Every year our HOA puts on a fabulous Christmas party for the kids. This was the first year that Jamison opted out. I was incredibly heartbroken understanding.  This was due to the influence of a couple of older kids on our street.....grrrr.  How dare they influence my child!!  At any rate, he knew he missed out when Amy and Becca came home wielding a bag of candy, sparkly pencil and a coloring book.  They also included tales of tables filled with cookies and hot cocoa. 

Becca wasn't so thrilled about Santa at first. She was perturbed about him getting in her grill.....why do we always subject our children to this?  What child would be excited to see a big fat stranger with a fake white beard and an overbearing desire to say hello and "ho ho ho."  What is "ho ho ho" anyway?

Amy was apprehensive as well but her belief in this present bearing man forced her to say hello.  Still cute.  Afterwards there were crafts o plenty.....full access to glitter, glue, stickers, sparkly do dads etc.  What fun times:)
