Becca gets glasses

 This Spring Greg and I noticed Becca squinting a lot to see things so I confirmed it with her preschool teacher and off to the eye doctor we went.  Turns out she really couldn't see ANYTHING.  After visiting 3 seperate eye places we found a pair of GREEN glasses (one of the prerequisites) and they are somewhat indestructable.  The first thing she said when she put them on was, "mom I see leaves on the trees!"  A whole new world just opened up for her!

Oliver!

Jamison had a solo in his 3rd grade Oliver musical production.  He totally nailed it.  His voice is so pure and always touches all who hear him.  Such a neat kid:)

Sarah's first sink bath

We've never been big on using baby bathtubs....or giving our babies baths in general.  Sure they have been known to have some extra fragrance but we make it and their cuteness overpowers their aroma.  Bathing babies just takes more effort than I have to muster after keeping them alive for the day.  Keeping them alive and fed is one thing....but then to bathe them on top of that....kind of pushes me over the top.  ha ha.  At any rate....when my babes are old enough to have a sink bath that's when things improve dramatically....for everyone involved.  Sarah seemed to enjoy it....and most of Becca's toys were bathed as well.  It was a win win win for all.

Sarah's 7-month milestones

Just when we didn't think this sweet thing couldn't get any cuter.....

Sarah's month included sitting up unassisted, first "crawling steps" and more solid food which she can feed herself (hurray!!!) and a tooth!

She also is becoming a little more picky who I hand her off too.  My neighbor who bails me out daily when it comes to picking kids up and errands is somewhat of a second mom to her so we are good there.  But anyone else.....not so much.....even my mom came over after work recently and Sarah totally fell apart.  Pretty classic to watch a happy baby face turn to tears so quickly over an unfamiliar face.
