Amy recently played in her last soccer game for the session. She started out by taking a slide tackle to the knee which she was displaying to all who might give her sympathy. I was impressed by how she was able to hold it together for so long until half time where she was able to shed some tears at the sight of a mommy with a bandaid. Amy really plays her little heart out and I think my favorite part is watching her little pig tails swing away.

Wonders of the Earth

The first grade team at Jamison's school put on yet another wonderful singing program. They sang songs mostle about the ocean complete with hand gestures. It was amusing to see most of the kids goofing off and really having fun with the program but Jamison was all business. I almost wanted to run up and tickle him so at least he would look like he was having a good time. I'm so grateful Jamison is at a school where the teachers go above and beyond when it comes to things like this:)

Entitlement

Becca is two. As you know two year olds are entitled to EVERYTHING they want. This includes taking a little rest in the middle of our street. And if you mess with "her" stuff while she is taking this little rest, she'll come after you. As she runs towards you, this is what you'll hear.
"Hey! Hey you.......HEEEEY!......MIIIINE!"

This is our life as we know it. Gotta love her.

Garage Sale Day

I think after today, my children are prepared to declare our annual neighborhood garage sale a holiday. Jamison scored a new lego ship. I scored a popcorn blower for a buck and Amy stocked up on shoes, and stuffed animals. The popcorn maker was a great source of entertainment.

Anything round and will fit around ones neck is considered a necklace to Becca.  In this case it is a siphen tube.  It's the new style:)

It's pretty much the cutest thing when Jamison tickles Becca

I am giddy and guilty all at the same time. I have always loved photography but after the digital age took over my two fancy "film" cameras quickly became obsolete and well....priorities were elsewhere so the hobby was shelved. That is until now. I still have guilt for buying a new camera because it was a want and not a need but I feel justified at the moment. I am starting all over again as a novice so I will be blog searching over the next month or two or three to tune up my skills and jumpstart my un-shelved passion:) I am so excited to manipulate aperatures again! Any and all advice is welcome.

Jamison has the lucky gene!!

As many of you know, Greg has an amazing lucky gene. No....not the overpriced denim but he just has great luck when it comes to winning things. His winning resume is impressive. Now, any rational person would assume that lucky genes don't necessarily pass on to offspring but today we experienced proof that luck is indeed hereditary. The chocolate fountain company called Sephra was having an open house of sorts complete with balloon bearing clowns, raffles and chocolate strawberries. Greg took half the neighborhood kids with him (probably considering his increased chances of winning with shear numbers) they all entered the raffle and they pulled Jamison's ticket. I think he figures he will now have a never ending chocolate supply in his room. Hooray for chocolate and the lucky gene!  Let's also point out the AMAZING ballon creations.  Tinkerbell??? seriously.

Cousin Dress up time

My Mom has a closet full of fun costumes made by my Aunt and every time we go to Nana's house, the costumes always come out. This past weekend was even more fun because Jamison and Amy had cousin Ava to join in the fun.

The Fighting Redwoods

Jamison is playing spring soccer this season and hisi team name is the Fighting Redwoods. I'm not quite certain where that came from but we're rolling with it. Since when do Redwoods fight? At any rate, he's had some good times so far and has gained a little more control over his limbs which is fun to watch.
