Toothless

Jamison has lost all four of his front teeth. The replacements are coming in fast! If only I could guide them where they needed to be because it's lookin like a sure thing this kiddos is going to need braces.

Jamison's kindergarten class performance

Jamison was able to participate in a performance given by the entire kindergarten class last week. It was the day I got out of the hospital and I am so glad I was able to hobble on in to see it. I couldn't sit in a regular chair for fear my muscles wouldn't allow me to get back up so we sat on the side. The kids sang a plethora of silly songs they practiced with their music teacher Mr. Lee. Jamison LOVES singing. The night before, he practiced loud and clear while taking a bath. I think the whole neighborhood could hear him.

Becca's 1 year old pictures

Since I have surgery tomorrow I wanted to get Becca's 1 yr. pictures taken so I don't feel like a negligent mother. I'm not sure when I'd get feeling up to wrestling a one year old in a photo studio again so I made a last minute appt. She was impossible to get sitting still but then again....what did I expect. I had to bribe her with a lollipop I secretly stashed in my back pocket as I hurried out the door knowing full well I'd need something in my arsenal if I wanted at least one good picture. Still cute nonetheless. She starting walking a little over a week ago. Now that we've seen Amy and Jamison grow up so fast we realize how fleeting these moments are so we soak it all in. At night, after we get Jamison and Amy asleep sometimes we'll go in Becca's room and if she's awake we get her up to play. We could spend hours watching her waddle up and down the hallway picking up everything on the floor and depositing it somewhere else where something a little more enticing catches her attention. All the while she often looks back at us with a smile as she seeks reassurance that we're still there enraptured by her utter and complete ability to be so stinkin adorable.
