The hills are alive....

On Monday morning we hiked up the hill behind my grandparents' house and had a spectacular view of Mount Tamalpais.

Golden Gate Bridge and Chrissy Field

This past weekend my mom, Kim and I flew up to the Bay Area for a girls weekend and to see family. We packed a whole lot in such a short amount of time and we had a blast doing it!

Where we are now.

It's amazing to me that my life is at this same point.....I'm as old now as my mom was here. I was 5 years old in this picture.

Photos before school started

I had these taken right before school started knowing I wasn't going to buy the ones at school. At what point is it too many photos of your kid?

To buy or not to buy?

I've never been a fan of school photos....probably because of my own traumatic picture taking experience growing up. Nothing major, I just always looked hideous and was embarassed about it. My guess was the rather large 80's style glasses and crooked teeth. So here are Jamison's school pictures. I think the kid is cute anyway....but had I known he was going to be this cute in them I would have put a normal shirt on him. Then again, I NEVER have a say in what he wears:)

San Diego Zoo

Today we spent some time at the zoo. We wanted to check out the new Elephant enclosure which was quite spectacular. We even saw the most majestic looking lion which was quite a sight. Jamison had a blast taking pictures of everything including elephant dung which I won't be posting, much to your dismay. I feel like the zoo has all of these hidden gems and we haven't quite seen them all yet. Once we're beyond the stroller phase I think things will be much more accessible but until then we're sticking to the basics.
