Sarah Elizabeth Davis

She's here!  Sarah Elizabeth Davis was born November 11/11/12 at 2:44pm.  She was 10 lbs. 1 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long.  Sarah is possibly the sweetest baby ever and we feel so blessed to have her in our home.

Reunion Goodbyes

The kids absolutely love their cousins.....it's so much fun to watch them play and also to see how patient my nieces and nephews are.  Family is great.

Spring baseball 2012

Jamison had an incredible first baseball season.  His team almost went undefeated and they ended up winning the championship.  The coaches could not have been more amazing and the parents were so much fun to hang out with.  I was totally bummed when the season ended.

A dog for the day

In June we got to experience temporary dog ownership.  My mom called early in the morning saying she had picked up a loose dog in the middle of a busy street on her way to work and needed a place for him to stay for the day.  Of course my first thoughts were something along the lines of "I don't have time to take care of one more needy living thing today" however that all changed when we met the sweet furry animal.  After contacting several shelters to make them aware of the fact we had the dog in the event someone called looking for him we secretly hoped nobody would come searching.  By 5:00 we received a call that his owners were desperately trying to find him.  Happy ending for them, sad Amy for us.

I love to see the temple

Despite the hectic nature of finding a sitter and making time to go to the temple, once there, I always feel such a sense of peace and a reassurance the everything might actually be ok afterall:)  We could all use a little more of that I think:)

Baseball season means....

For some, little league season may only mean something to the individual actually playing the sport of baseball however the girls were absolutely thrilled every time Jamison had a game.  Becca oftentimes couldn't resist running out onto the field at times ready to demonstrate her ability to run the bases in any given order.  When the games were over, it was her time to shine:)

We love sunscreen

I love that my kids continually become more self sufficient.  Even if I have to help out with the sunscreen every once in a while:)

Soccer = Gumballs

Becca's interpretation of Amy's soccer games means she gets a gumball.  When Greg goes he is able to play the game such that he gets two for one by hitting the gumball in the pinball like machine at the correct target.  I however have been unsuccessful at this venture.  Yet....another reason why I'm glad I married Greg.  Free gumballs.
