January heat wave

We got our January heat wave at the end of the month this year.  It never fails.....every year we end up at the pool at least once in January.  In the beginning of the month we had record low temperatures.....which weren't that bad compared to the rest of the country. However when you live in a house that seems as though it was left off the list when the insulation was supposed to be installed, anything below 60 isn't that fun.  Our house is pretty cold in the winter.  So when our heat wave finally arrived, I was so relieved to warm my bones......and go swimming:)

Lesson on worms

Did you know that when it rains the earthworms surface as to avoid drowning?  During one of our recent storms I was so frustrated seeing all the worms slithering to their death in the gutter so I solicited help from Amy who willingly helped me recue hundreds of worms.  HUNDREDS people.....I'm sure our neighbors after seeing me do this added one more thing to their list as to why they think I am nuts.  It was worth it though.....my yard will have plenty of worm castings this year.

Sarah's 2-month stats

Little Sarah had her 2 month check up this week.  Here is the rundown:
Weight: 13.2 pounds/ 92 percentile
Height: 24.5 inches/ 99 percentile

We have a big baby on our hands:)  She is literally the sweetest baby ever.  She is our little chatter box.  The minute anyone looks at her she just starts chatting away.....you look away she stops and waits for your attention again.  And best of all, she dishes out the most precious smiles.  She'll go to sleep between 9 and 10pm and I wake her up around 5 or so to eat and the minute I get her up she looks at me with the sweetest smile ever.  I LOVE this little girl.

Greg was able to bless Sarah in church yesterday.  It was a beautiful blessing and it made me so grateful for a wonderful husband who honors the priesthood.  Both of our parents were able to attend as well. Lynn was able to make Sarah's dress as well....it was absolutely beauitful. Special day:)
