Blue Sky Preserve

We were in need of a Saturday family hike so we took the kiddos over to Blue Sky preserve.....never made it to the lake but the kids had a blast climbing oak trees and messing around.

I was due to take some pictures of Amy and so we came up with a few good ones.  She is my super helper....what would I do without her??  All moms should have an Amy.

Sarah turns 1!

It's official.  Sarah made it through her first year of life and is adored by all.  She is an incredibly happy baby and always willing to smile for the camera.  Jamison Amy and Becca are totally in love with her as are Greg and I.  She is 55% for weight and 90% for height.  She has become really playful and is always wanting to get in on the action when Dad comes home to wrestle.  She has also started walking too....13 months.  Love this little gem and I couldn't imagine life without her.

This past Sunday was my mother's birthday celebration at Dix & Lynn's and Amy wanted to roast woofums as well.  There is something about roasting food over the fire that makes it taste yummy despite the fact that it is charred.  

Halloween 2013

This October brought an endless celebration of Halloween.  The candy flowed and the crafts flooded our home.  Amy was a sweet little bumblebee, becca was a cat, Sarah was a watermelon and Jamison decided to forgo dressing up despite our protests.

Coronado Beach on the Navy base

 I was able to take some family photos for a group that was staying at the Navy hotel on Coronado.  The perk.....getting an entire beach practically all to ourselves.  This is unheard of in Southern California.
