Hairdo's and ear piercing

A couple of months ago Amy declared that it was time to get her ears pierced. I was slightly caught off guard....not quite sure why....so I told her if she saved her money and paid for it I would take her. I was hoping that would buy me quite a bit of time to think about it some more. She earned some money by partaking in a phsycological evaluation for a company who puts test questions together for children. In two hours she earned $40! Pretty good money for a 5 year old right?

We drove to the bank to deposit her check and withdrew enough cash for her ears....$35 plus $4 for tithing. So all in all she deposited a $1 into her account:)

We booked an appointment at Chloe's Carousel which is a full service salon that caters to children....and they also do ear piercing. It was so cute watching Amy get her hair trimmed, braided and adorned with ribbons, sparkles and flowers. What little girl wouldn't love that?? Then following hair she had her ears pierced. It was brilliant. They had two people do it at the same time. She made a sad face like she was going to cry but got through it after seeing her pink sparkly earrings. When we got home she declared to everyone that she didn't cry and she was super brave. Cute.

Love this little girl!

Is it weird that I'm jealous of Amy's spa day? Ha ha, it looks so relaxing! She is so so cute.
