Safari West

A morning at Grandpa Dee dee's always includes the breakfast ritual of Wheat Chex with fresh fruit and eggs visuvius special order.  A custom omlet is referred to as "eggs visuvius" because that is the name of the ship my grandfather served on during the Korean war.  I loved how amused my grandpa was at the business and energy of the kids.  For us it is business as usual but for him it was pure entertainment.

We were priviledged to go to Safari West where my Aunt Leslie works.  She even had time for our own private jeep tour...always a hit with the kids.  The special of the day was being able to see a newborn water buffalo who was just an hour old.
Many of the roads were rutty so Becca held on to Deedee's pants for stability.

Amy was the only one brave enough to hold the scull of a Watusi cow.

Cute Becca, Nolan and Amy having the time of their lives.
