Torrey Pines Hike

Last Saturday we were able to hike a trail at Torrey Pines. It's short, easy and fun for the kids. Becca's favorite was consuming about a bucket of sand (much to the dismay of one lady bystander) while Jamison and Amy made drip castles. The tide was surprisingly the lowest I had ever seen it. The big rock below with people on it is usually just barely sticking out of the waves. Jamison was enthralled with the multitude of sea life scuttling all around the rock. We finished it off with a sunset and only one episode of tears. Love it.
